Fishing on a frozen lake is a popular sport in Minnesota. Fishermen love to wile away the long and dark winters of the north, relaxing in their shacks while keeping watch over their bobbers. These pen & ink illustrations I created capture the beauty of the Minnesota's north woods and the shanties fishermen and women call home during those cold months.
